My friend Wenert put this trip together; a three day camp float through the Gunnison Gorge in late June, during the famed Salmonfly hatch. Three boats with two anglers and a guide in each, and a fourth boat to haul gear, five star all the way. He thought of me when he came up with an extra seat at the last minute, and despite scheduled guide trips, I jumped at the chance.
